Student Curriculum
Central Community College (CCC) in Hastings, Nebraska and Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte offer a wide array of educational opportunities to people interested in pursuing a career in the TDWL industries. Our campuses are well-equipped with professional instructors, state-of-art and equipment, and a curriculum that positions graduates for rewarding occupations of their choice.
The Central Community College-Hastings Campus prepares students for high paying careers in the following truck and auto fields:
- Auto Body Technician

The Mid-Plains Community College Campus has a Center for Railroad Training which provides premium training facilities and instruction to American and Canadian railroads, It will provide classrooms for inside instruction, and equipment (truck, cars and technology) for outside training areas.

Mobile Training Lab
A key component of the CNTF program is a Mobile Training Lab. This powerful training and public relations tool is a state-of-the art classroom, complete with highly sophisticated truck or rail simulators that puts users virtually behind the controls of a moving computerized truck or train.
In March 09 second new Mobile Training Lab has been added to the CNTF program. The new lab will be based out of MPCC. The lab contains a state of the art classroom, complete with a cut away diesel engine along with a truck driving simulator and railroad simulator. The new lab has hit the ground running and has been a valuable addition to the program.

Nebraska Workforce Development also provides valuable training information to help people find training.Educator Workshops
Central Community College and Mid-Plains Community College will periodically conduct workshops to help educators prepare students for careers in the growing TDWL industries.
